Mobbs’ recent practice explores our relationship with the ‘wild’: spaces we cannot rationalise and assimilate. Entrance (2022) invites us to enter the untamed woods within. Untitled (2021) offers an ambiguous view, glimpsed through the trees. The shale stacks (in progress) are photographed head-on, becoming encounters with these monument-like rocks.
